简介：英国Sky Atlantic、法国Canal+与美国HBO联合制作影集《年轻教宗》（The Young Pope）由奥斯卡提名男星裘德洛（Jude Law）主演、奥斯卡最佳外语片《绝美之城》编导保罗索伦提诺（Paolo Sorrentino）打造，播出后获不少好评，制作人曾宣布会有第二季。不过日前拍摄计划生变，改成推出《新教宗》（The New Pope）作为续篇影集。 《新教宗》由《年轻教宗》团队制作，预计今年底展开拍摄。由于是「新教宗」的故事，届时演员也将替换成全新的阵容，不确定裘德洛的角色是否会再现身。
